This is a documentary about the making of Terry Gillam's adaptation of Don Quixote. If you are a movie buff or an aspiring moviemaker, this documentary about the trails and tribulations of directing a major movie production--and a life-long dream of Gilliam's--is for you! This story is a interesting and educational way to spend a couple of hours. You will be amazed at the amount of time and effort it takes to make a movie of this scale and the amount of people involved. Lastly, it will break your heart to see Gilliam's hard work during pre-production of several years come to a grinding halt due to circumstances beyond his control. If you have ever had a passion to complete a goal or project, you will love this story.
And to all the dumb-asses who dissed this as a boring movie with bad acting, I say, "This is not a movie dumbasses!" Johnny Depp did not choose to be in Lost In LaMancha, he is in a documentary about his part in the making of The Man Who Killed Don Quixote. |
