terry gilliam is one of the most interesting filmmakers to ever grace the silver screen. the problem is he never sticks to his budgets and producers, studios never want to hire him.
this documentary follows the making of his next film. from the word go this film is in trouble. johnny depp is there and sadly doesn't get the chance to act in what could of been a very different film. we follow the poor film and we see the problems the film sustained.
this is a complete view into the making of a hollywood film. it shows the crushing dreams one man sustains and it is quite heartbreaking. this is from the same guys who made the docmentary from 12 monkeys. that was brilliant and so is this, worth a look |
