I just love Laura Dern - her movies are consistently excellent and this one is no exception. It follows the story (the true story) about Dr. Linda Peeno who had her eyes opened by the abuses HMOs cause patients (as any of us who have had HMO coverage could relate to). Anyway, she's fine, the film has enough evil people to make you feel good and enough good feelings at the end to make it worthwhile. And of course Dern carries this film. |
