Ebert & Roeper gave it 2 thumbs up. We love Bill, we love artsy indie films, we usually agree with E&R, so we went. We should have read between the lines. "Controlled," "tired and subdued," "wearily funny..." but TWO THUMBS UP! I can picture Coppola off-camera with a shotgun. This movie was not only ABOUT insomnia, it was a guaranteed cure. It did indeed capture the disorientation and boredom of an international business trip, but did it have to capture every moment?! |
