Worst Movie I've Seen in a Long Time

This movie had a large number of interwoven plot lines with conflicts that were never resolved. It depicts two individuals who spend a week in Tokyo, one of the great cities of the world, and can find nothing to do. It proceeds to tear down and insult the Japanese culture with trite humor about the Japanese accent and traditions.
Of the 6 people in the theater, only 4 remained at the end. Undoubtedly, those of us who remained till the end stayed only to get our 8 bucks worth. Also, the frequency of extramarital fraternization and the negative view of marriage make this a terrible movie for a date.
The only redeeming factor to the movie was its great footage of Tokyo, but I would wager that I could get the same results taking my home video camera around Tokyo. I would give this movie an overall ten fingers down. |
