I went into the theater with little knowledge of the film. I had seen an ad online and thought it looked interesting. I took a date, and we both enjoyed the movie. I am usually one who can figure out a plot about 20 minutes into a film; with The Order, this was not so. I was kept in suspense, awaiting every twist and turn in the plot (and there are quite enough to keep this movie interesting). Also, I liked that it tackled a subject I had heard/seen so little about. Granted, it is in the same genre as Stigmata, Lost Souls, etc., but The Order takes a different route than any other movie I have ever seen. Fresh is good, and this movie definitely delivers. Besides, how can you go wrong with Heath and Shannyn in the cast? Their chemisty is undeniable! |
