For those who claimed to see the movie, it doesn't knock down Christianity... Yes, the movie is a satire, and it does mock some aspects of Christian traditions, but it also asks several good questions. 1) What would Jesus do? Would he turn his back on the kids... 2) If God created everyone so differently, why does he want everyone the same? Isn't it our uniqueness that makes us human..?
For those who are complaining about the movie, watch it again and understand it.
For those who mentions the movie being stereotypical or 1 dimensional.. Is it really..? Everyone in the movie has faults, both believed that they were doing the right thing. Even Mandy Moore character has some positive light. We got to know the characters.. and even Mandy Moores character is liked in the end. |
