I think that I came out of this movie needing an insulin shot...and I'm not a diabetic!
"Love Actually" is a typical feel-good Christmas movie that links a whole bunch of different characters to a common theme. Of course, there are many fine actors in this movie, but the story is dull and the vignettes, if they can be called that, are a bit annoying.
So, for those of you who want to see yet another Christmas movie, go see this. It's not too bad, but it's nothing special. Hugh Grant is in it, so there's some eye candy for the ladies and Keira Knightley is in it, as well, so there's some more eye candy.
This movie is all about pretty appearances and eye candy, as are most Christmas movies. So, when the syrupy-sweetness finally gets to your pancreas, just remember my admonition. |
