...Ford almost doesn't have to save the show

In Hollywood Homicide, we see a new and imroved Harrison Ford: he's funnier and he's full of action. And Josh Hartnett isn't too bad, either. Because of the unexpeced entertainment and the laughs that are few but creative, Ford almost doesn't have to save the show.

Although the movie gets slow n the beggining, it picks up very nicely in the end. The story is also a little complex, so I won't be able to tell you to much. Joe(Ford) and K.C.(Hartnett) are both cop partners, but they also both have other jobs. Joe is astuggling real estate agent and Hartnett is a yoga instructor and a wannabe actor. The weird thing is, they are investigating the murder of a rap group, something that Harrison Ford wouldn't usually be pulled into but he handles it well. And both cops also fall in love: while K.C. goes along with his yoga students, Joe falls for a sassy fortune teller.

This movie was not well-received by critics because of the whole action?comedy thing. But actually, you'll get very entertained around when the ovie reaches 50 minutes or something. It also features cameo performances by Outkast's Andre Benjamin, Smokey Robinson, Martin Landau, and even a very brief appearance by Eric Idle. Harrison Ford is funnier than ever, and so is Josh Hartnett. I mean it, this movie is not as bad as it looks!
