Touching story about a family living with adversity and working thru it together (with a little help from Djimon Hounsou).
The little girls are outstanding and the littlest one is a real charmer. She steals the show.
I had a bit of a problem with the development of Hounsou's character and how he relates to the family. I think that could have been better.
If you get teary eyed at movies, you'll probably weep at this one. And that says enough about this movie and makes it worht the price of admission. (And it's also under 2 hours, which is rare for a movie these days. A file that knew it didn't have to be two and half hours, and better yet, wasn't. |
