I saw this with barely any knowledge at all about it so I didn't really know what to expect. I loved it! There's never been a movie where vampires and werewolves went at it like this! The climatic battle where they fight and maul each other was just awesome! Kate Beckinsdale was perfectly cast - hauntingly beautiful and impossible to look away from. A few shots looked a bit too Matrix for me, but that's okay. Once I got more of a grasp of what this was about (15 minutes or so in) I was thoroughly entertained and had a hell of a time. The performances were fantastic. I'm convinced that this will set off a franchise of sequals and video games. I can't wait for the DVD! I hope Beckinsdale joins in for the commentary! |
