This movie although it could have been done a little better i feel hits a homer with humor. It looks like a scary movie wanna be at first but it isnt. Although Super Troopers was and by far is more funny this movie exploits some of the more bizzare humor they have. Funny parts include the machette phil story end. The killer walking faster than girl trying to escape on a golf cart with a low battery. Although some of the scenes from the trailer which where by far funny where not in the movie disappointed me but that happens in several movies at final cut time. Plus gives everyone a reason to rent the dvd so they can see deleted scenes. With a turn of twists the loser from supertroopers is the hero while some of the heros from supertroopers are villians.
In my opinion, if you like comedy and horror movies see this. If you like dark humor and satire see it. But probably like super troopers it will be a bigger dvd renter than movie show. Although I am still waiting for super troopers 2 which will probably never happen but should. Jay Chan..... is funny and should continue making comedies but he dipped into horror for a try. Did he fail. Not really but he isnt a success. I say if you all the other movies look boring this wont be so see it. |
