You get the feeling after seeing this movie that the producers of the first one sat in a meeting and simply said "Why not?" There is not much sense of purpose for this one. I did like the sense of humanity that Angelina brought to the character this time. It's visually stunning in places and the main character is frankly the most perfectly formed action character franchise around. Angelina looks healthier and less cartoony this time too--- I liked it. I will own it when it comes to DVD but will probably not see it in the theater again. |
