Partaking upon viewing this movie at the day of the premiere only added to the improvement the Tomb Raider series has had since it's first installment. As Angelina Jolie noted in an interview, Lara Croft has truly evolved more since the first movie, giving more life and emotion into the character, yet still retaining a good structure as shown in the video games -- that being the witty, charming and intellectual adventurer. The movie definitely takes a step up in the action scale from the previous, and truly ranks as a feisty action movie, intertwined with pretty nifty graphics, a good rounded cast and more stable [ and less jumbled / easy confusing for new viewers ] story. A must for any Angelina and or Tomb Raider fan -- and a must see for anyone interested! |
