This movie had it's share of bad acting, a pointless storyline, and great visuals...as most teen horror flicks do. But what this movie had, versus other teen horror films from the past, was will power. While watching the movie, I often wondered, "When is he/she gonna die???" My mind wandered from time to time, but then something would happen to capture my attention again. It had a bunch of "jumpy moments" and apparently some scream-worthy ones too (as the 2 girls sitting next to me demonstrated). If you've seen the original, don't fret, cause this remake is totally different. And undoubtedly, it's better. So if you're looking for a good time, then go ahead and spend your Saturday night at the movies watching the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. |
