I came to this sight (while listining to The Pianist soundtrack which is lovely) and I saw a review by an unmamed person giving this film a D and calling it just another holocust movie.I went to see this film the day after the Oscars and as an young actress I only wished I could ever measure up to the amount of talent displayed in the film.Though it may not be Polanski's directoral masterpiece,he provides a very real looking image of what life was like in the ghetto's of Poland.I also have read the book and Polanski keeps very close to the events that Szpilman discribes.This film touched me as no book or movie ever had.And Mr. Reviwe writter, I do want to know what films you find appealing? |
