Looking for a movie that will stir your soul? You have found it, with The Painted Veil. The cinematography, acting and story are unparalled. There are few words to describe how wonderful this film is, how fortunate we are as the public to have access to such a presentation. The movie is on the emotional and cinematography level of "The Piano" and "The English Patient." The performances are so good. Both Naomi Watts and Edward Norton Jr. are just beyond perfect. Every detail of the film - clothing, props, music is perfectly placed and entertwined, creating an unforgettable experience. There is no point in the movie that leaves you feeling cheated or scammed; every scene, every word is perfect. See the film, but be prepared to be floating above the earth after...for quite some time.
And to hope, you may never come down, because being within The Painted Veil is a great place to be. |
