Isn't it obvious that the first "viewer reviews" are studio hype. The real story is that this film sucks. DeCaprio is only mediocre in it and the directing seemed labored and tedious. Apparently Sorcesse is trying too hard to get an Oscar after so many floppish films in a row. The directing was lack luster to be kind. I love the movies and would be lying to recommend this movie to anyone. Just not good and it induces sleep after about 30 minutes of nothingness. |
