This movie is fantastic for those who appreciate Joseph Campbell or the psychology of Carl Jung.
Solaris asks us to explore our own anima/animus, issues revolving around attachment, desire, regret and letting go. More generally, it requires us to ponder the significance of man's unconscious, our projections and relationship pathology.
A brilliant movie that is way above the average person's ability to comprehend. For those who have peered deep enough inside thought, this is a must see movie of significant importance. |
