I never liked the work of Frida Kahlo until I watched this film. Liking her work is not the factor - it's understanding it. Her work and life are brought to life in this film that is most certainly the best film of 2002 (movie year.) Colorful, vibrant, and witty, the film and the performances by Hayek and Molina are perfect. |
