What has happened?
When did people begin to believe Dr. Seuss "neglected" to include children seeing their mother ogled like a centerfold? Or attempted scatalogical jokes were what the good Dr. was missing from his classics.
May my children someday forgive me for taking them to see this horror film dressed up like a hip, happ'n LSD hangover from Edward Scissorhands. Because I will not forgive myself.
I almost hope there is no after-life. I cannot imagine the soul crushing effect seeing this movie would have on Theodor Geisel. Oh, what they have done to your work and my childhood memories!
Rest in peace, Dr. Seuss. |
