I really can't write a thorough review of this film because I got up and left about 40 minutes into it. The funny part was, the film was actually enjoyable untill Mike Myers showed up as the Cat in the Hat and pretty much mugged for the camera the remainder of the time I could even bear to watch. A lot of the humor in this film is innapropriate for younger children and whoever thought Mike Myers would make a good Cat in the Hat should be fired immediatley. Alec Baldwin and Sean Hayes were the only things I found funny and it's a shame to see talented kids wasted on this trash they call a movie. Skip it and see Elf or Looney Tunes. You'll be glad you did. |
