I took my 4-year-old to see this movie this morning. He hasn't stopped talking about it for over 2 hours and keeps asking when we can go again. I read all the critic's reviews about the movie and, from the less-than-flattering reviews was expecting some sort of horror flick in terms of the animation. This wasn't the case at all. There were a couple of suspensful parts where my son wanted to sit on my lap, but other than that, he absolutely loved it. (Funny, now the parts where he crawled on my lap are actually his FAVORITES)
I don't know how I'd rate this movie if I saw it alone, but through the eyes of my son, it was truly magical--a Christmas classic that we will watch every year! |
