While we can all forget the disasters known as "Atlantis" and "Treasure Planet," we are safe to know that "Brother Bear" follows in the line of "Lilo & Stitch" in creating a fun movie that all people can enjoy. With visuals that are lush and colorful (the palette and detail is just incredible) and voices that range from heart-warming to hysterical, "Bear" offers a touching look at putting yourself in someone else's shoes. Though Disney is sadly avoiding musicals -- and therefore losing touch with hits like "Aladdin" and "Lion King" -- this film nonetheless offers some entertainment for the family, a fun date or just an outing with a group of friends. |
