When I went to see Wrong Turn, my expectations were extremely low. Although I love horror films, there seems to be a shortage of good ones. I was pleasantly surprised by this film; it was thoroughly involving, and I was squirming in my seat throughout the whole movie. And God, was it creepy, scary, and action packed. Who cares if the premise has already been done? (Deliverance, The Hills Have Eyes) When a Horror Film delivers the goods, it doesn't matter how original it is. I think it is the best horror film of the new millenium thus far, and this is coming from a certified horror buff. My grade: A Tim Kirby Evanston, Illinois |
