only if you're a Woody Allen fan

I think there's a reason Woody Allen is not mentioned in ANY advertisement associated with this film--although quite loyal, his fans are a minority and this movie proves why. While he's hailed as the king of comic dialogue, I got so annoyed with all the superfluous chatter that I found myself watching the extras jogging through Central Park more entertaining than watching the actors yammer on about how miserable and confusing their lives are. Acting is more than reciting dialogue, but this film gives no room to act since the whole thing is an attempt at comic dialogue that sounds like it was written by someone who is merely trying to "prove" they're smart, rather than just naturally being so. I suppose if your an Allen fan, this is exactly what you love him for, but as many times as I try to think "maybe I'll like THIS Woody Allen film", this one sealed the deal for me. No more.
