All of you people who wrote that Wallace & Gromit was a bad movie do not understand what Wallace & Gromit really is. You say that violence is not in the shorts, yet why is the penguin always trying to kill Gromit? Also, one of the things that makes this movie great IS the claymation. Wallace & Gromit has always been claymation and will never change. Those of you who were not expecting it were obviously not paying attention during the commercials.
The Curse of the Were-Rabbit struck me as another Wallace & Gromit classic. In every short the script was never perfect, but no script ever is. As for those of you who thought that Wallace & Gromit is a children's movie, if you watch some of the shorts you will see that there is some kind of violence in almost every one.
This is a good movie, maybe it isn't made for the extremely young and impressionable, but even movies like The Little Mermaid and Free Willy have evil violent characters. This movie is entirely likeable to the Wallace & Gromit fans, which are who this movie was made for. |
