I have never laughed so much in a film to the point where I'm CRYING. I've never "Ohhhhhhhhhhh"'d so much as I did at the adorable bunnies that were in the film. I've never left a film wanting more and more of it as much as I did with this one!!
I've loved W&G since their short film days - so when I heard a full-length feature was coming I was ecstatic. But then I started to think "Well maybe it won't be as good." "Maybe it's more for the kids." "Maybe they've changed the characters." But thanks to Nick Park and the rest of the Aardman crew Wallace and Gromit were as loveable, silly, happy-go-lucky and ridiculously clever as always.
You HAVE to see this film. Young, old - it doesn't matter. Just have a mind and a heart and you're sure to love it (something obviously lacking from those leaving bad reviews!) The claymation of Wallace and Gromit is a refreshing change from today's cookie-cutter computer-animated movies. The work that went into this film - every move, ever subtlety - it's truly an art form.
It takes you to the delightful world of Wallace and Gromit and trust me - you won't want to leave. And on that note if you're an Xbox or Playstation user also check out the new game based on the movie - and in a way, you can do just that! Now if I can just figure out which button on the controller I have to hit to GET there... :) |
