Where's Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman?

I guess I've seen too many thrillers. I had the bad guy picked out almost immediately. And the hardest part was believing that Angelina Jolie didn't know who he was when she is an FBI agent profiler. It was easy picking out the bad guy because you had no other choices.
And who was the guy at the beginning of the movie doing the killing? Because he didn't look anything like the guy who turned out to be the killer at the end (I'm trying hard not to give anything away....although I don't know why it matters).
The twist at the end was easy to peg, too. No originality. You knew she'd get back at him. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
I'm sure Ashley Judd turned this one down so she could be in that other blockbuster thriller (sarcasm) called Twisted.
Truthfully, this was billed as the best thriller since Silence of the Lambs and it doesn't come close. Predictable with a gratuitous sex scene. I had a problem with that sex scene, also. Who starts penetration almost immediately after undressing? Geez, and the guy wasn't even undressed. It was like a wham bam thank you mam sex scene. Kinda embarrassing to say the least. And did you notice that she opened the door, he walked in about 3 steps......HE NEVER CLOSES THE DOOR.....she walks backwards to a wall and he follows, he pulls open her robe, looks at her breasts, pulls off her robe, and never unzips his pants or takes them off and suddenly they're either dry humping or who knows what? It was silly. I don't go for sex scenes....but it was really stupid.
Wait for the video. I was extremely disappointed. |
