This movie taking Lives started off with great potential. Potential story that hasent been done before a million times. But sadly after the first 20 minutes the movie was putting me into a slumber. Don't promote an actor in a movie whos only it in for about 2, my count. The best part of this movie was the love scene with Hawke and Jolie. At least that was entertaining the movie had several flaws. Once you are at the part when he is about to make it with Jolie, its so obvious at that point how it ends. They promote this movie as a scary, never before done type, well these critics are lying to us again. Jolies performance was excellent and so was Hawkes but Martinez is as dry as a martini, "ju es stupid". The movie turns into complete ludacris after the first hour it was kinda believable up untill that point. Anjelina Jolie really needs to chose her work more carefully I mean this is a mediocre flick and Beyond Borders was beyond boring. This type of genre is so played out, just rent the original ones. Se7en was a great piece of work, rent that instead of seeing this, this is a poor effort film. I mean come on, the movie had to resort to Angelina getting naked to try to bring viewers cause this movie has nothing else to offer. O well, my advice is don't see this movie because its really not worth your time! |
