I sure hope the TV series wasn't this bad

Starsky and Hutch was a TV show back in the '70s. Being born in '86, it was before my time. Now that I've seen the remake, I thank God I was born in the '80s. This new remake (I don't how well or how bad it compares to the show) is unbelievably stupid. People found this entertaining in the 1970s? I've never, EVER liked Ben Stiller, so now he just goes farther down in my opinion. Wait a minute... I Spy? Charlie's Angels? Now Starsky and Hutch? All movies adapted from '70s TV shows? These are horrible films, so I can only imagine that the shows must've been bad as well. And what is with the casting? Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson I still think are such a bad duo. If they do any more movies together, they oughta' move to San Francisco together, if you know what I mean. Vince Vaughn's character of the bad guy is so goofy I never throughout the whole movie belived his character. And don't get me started on Snoop Dogg. I didn't the spot to play Huggy Bear was only for has-beens. Director Todd Phillips as well as the rest of the cast should be ashamed of themselves. I sure would like to see the script, so won't run out of toilet paper. |
