..then you need to get a life. As a film student who goes to college, when I see a great film, I'm not going to lie and tell everyone that it sucked because the previews were "stupid looking." For all those who write reviews and base your opinion on a 2 minute preview, keep your opinion to yourself; we don't give a damn.
This film was absolutely brilliant. Every second of the movie had you going, with the amazing special effects and solid acting, this movie is compelling on all levels.
I, myself, was a huge fan of the cartoon when I was a child. The movie, for those who have seen the cartoon, sticks very close to its original origins. It is the greatest underdog story ever told, and with the unique vision and phenomenal direction by the Wachowski Brothers, it only takes the film to the next level.
I have, with my friends, compared this movie to greats such as Back to the Future and Memento. This movie, in just the first time watching it, has gone up into my top three, if not the number one slot. This movie is inspirational, and it will leave every single person, who has enough sense in his/her body to appreciate a masterpiece such as this, with a smile on their face and a new appreciation for film in general. |
