OK, the screenplay does not have the Ray Bradbury original's philosophical depth and the special effects are a little shaky. But "A Sound of Thunder" has scary moments, a decent cast, and one of my favorite directors, Peter Hyams. It may even have been a hit if Warner Brothers had promoted it. Anyway, I think science-fiction fans, action fans, and thriller fans might like it. |
