An intellectual stage play converted into a heady, made for movie format. As such, the movie format comes off as being a triffle staid and stiff and too theatrical.Thats due in part to the affected script dialog and because only four actors ever interact in the movie, all else is simply background setting.Nevertheless, the basic idea and premise of the movie comes across swimmingly and clearly. Is it right and ethical to shape another person into one's own ideal? such as is done in the name of science and call it art without the benefit of an agreed upon lab project?and what about those emotional feelings that evolve as a result? In sum,its a tug of war between the shaper of things and the person being shaped.Very definitely NOT for the platonic of heart. Similar--"Human nature" "Enigma" |
