Okay, let's be honest: Scary Movie (1) was no doubt a guilty pleasure; it mixed that crude humor that you couldn't help but laugh at and find hysterical. It was fresh, unique and new. The second one was uttery stupid and the third one... Well, do you remember how disappoint the sequels to Jurassic Park were? Welcome to the club. Here, we have lost our original inventors (the Wayan clan, specificall Keenen Ivory as director) and we've lost the comedy as well. The previews made it look damn funny -- only to disappoint you in the theaters. This one can wait til rent, folks. |
