okay, so i see almost all cop dramas when they come out. i am a veteran of watching all kinds of cop dramas in the theaters before dvd release. anyways, i read the critics reviews and thought this was gonna be another dumb cop average drama movie. damn, i was wrong. this is possibly the best movie so far in 2008, except for the dark knight. this is gritty, dark, and depressing. don't watch this if you don't like hard and brutal movies. a scene with the baby left the audience (which i was in) saying "nooooo!!!". anyways, if you like cop dramas this movie is for YOU. people say this is compared to we own the night i don't know where anybody got that from since we own the night was a horrible movie. please read this review and every other positive review and get yourself to the theater to watch some SERIOUS cop drama. |
