Worth the wait

I know that this film was completed a long time ago and took forever to get to the screen but it was worth the wait.
If you are looking for non-stop action and a happy ending this is not the film to see. If you want to see a film that is extremely well acted and riveting this is for you.
There is no mystery to anyone who has seen the trailers for this movie who the good guys and bad guys are. What this movie does is it trys to show you what each character is going through and why they feel the way they do,what they each have lost or will loose because of their actions.
Ed Norton is so believable in the role of Ray. You really feel his pain about what happen to him a couple years prior and his conflict on where is loyalties should be now. There is never any over acting with him. He is truly one of the most natural actors I have ever seen.
I have never seen Colin Farrell play such a bad guy and he delivered beyond expectations. There is one scene in the movie when the whole audience gasped at what he was about to and you actually believed he would be capble of doing it.
I feel if anyone thought he is just a pretty face will realize how wrong they are when they see him in this role.
I thought the rest of the cast did an excellent job to and the story even though told before was still very interesting and there were some twists that you would not expect.
See this movie you will not be disappointed. |
