This is a thoughtful movie that makes you think more than dazzles you with blood, action and explosions. I like that type of movie. If you want an action movie you probably won't like this one. There is a lesson in the movie and it is about the unintended consequences of lieing and taking the low road, even if it seems to help one of your own. If you pick that up in the movie you will enjoy how it unfolds. I really liked watching how the story played out. I think it was very believable and the character acting was top notch by everyone. I think this would be a great movie to show to cops while in school, kids (with less blood) and others to show how once you go to the "dark side" it entangles and draws you down, including those who passively sit by or help to cover it up. It's a dark movie, not a feel-gooder, but I really enjoyed it. |
