This is an Action Fantasy Movie
in a league all of its own! Dialogue
and subplots are kept to nice
clean minimum. Nothing is allowed
to get in the path of the purely
original and brilliantly dark,
moody futuristic back drops
and other visual treats added to this “Sci Fi
Roller Coaster Ride.”
XXX Vin is his usual brooding self.
A well played out dark and mysterious
Character. In fact this A+ ensemble
of some of Hollywoods best
Character Actors, is one of
the best assembled for a Sci-Fi Drama.
No one goes over the top, but
all contribute nicely to a well disciplined
exercise of Character Acting. The Cast
allows the big props and beautifully designed
costumes and wardrobes to guide there
performances. Everything blends, man,
machine and Beast into an electrifying
techno orgy.
“Sci-Fi Grung” is probably the best
two word description for this work.
Classics this work of Art is similar too.
Particularly with regard to Visuals;
1] Dune , --1984
2] Alien, --1979
3] Battlefield Earth, --2000
and of course the other Dark and
Sexy Sci Fi drama, “Pitch Black”
