I went to see a screener of Chronicles of Riddick yesterday. I didn't expect too much from the movie. Pitch Black, the prequel to this movie, was an example of a low-budget sci-fi film gone wrong. Surprisingly, Riddick was fairly entertaining. There were many flaws in the plot of this story but they are covered up by very nice action scenes. There were many times where you would question if the scene actually made any sense or how it fit into the movie, but it was fun overall. The ending of the movie gave hint that there would be a sequal to come in the future. |
