I thought this movie would either be great or that all the best scenes were in the trailers on tv and the movie would not even entertain a child. Well this movie fell into the first category. It is great. The story is wonderful, the special effects are not overdone and work as part of the story, the actors are all engaging but I do have to say that Johnny Depp is 100% on target for his character. I have already told people how good this movie is and will continue to tell people. What I have also told people is that Johnny Depp is one of our best actors. I just love the way he gets into his character and becomes Capt. Jack Sparrow. And he does that with all the roles in all his movies. I think the acadamy should give Johnny Depp an oscar not for any particular role but for all his roles. He never ceases to amaze me and he does it again in this movie. Bravo, bravo, bravo Mr. Depp. |
