I had seen the teaser trailer for Pinocchio, and I immidietly didn't want to see it. But, when I saw the new trailer for it, it actually looked pretty good. I have seen the Disney version, and I liked it. I used to like Pinocchio, but not anymore.
I went to the theater with my grandpa to see it, but I had no idea what horrors awaited me. Then the lights dimmed and the movie started to play. I sat there for almost two hours watching a movie that was supposed to make me laugh, not cry and wish I had seen The Wild Thornberries instead. When I walked out of the theater, I had just experienced a fairytale from hell.
The story is terrible! The story is extremely depressing and sad for freakin fairytale. It has a lot of sad deaths, dumb events, and poor plot designing. The story has Pinocchio going off on his adventures when he tricked by some drunk animals and is bankrupt. He then goes to some gay amusement park and becomes a jackass (litterally), and from that point on things take a turn for the worst.
I have never heard of Roberto Benigni, and I decided to judge him based on this movie. I will never ever see another Roberto Benigni movie ever again! He is a terrible actor with little enthusiasm, and his movements just show us he's a wooden dipsh*t. The rest of the characters really lack the charm and interest that other fairytale characters have, instead they are dumb and stupid right down to the smallest qualities.
Roberto Benigni, what **** is wrong with you? You remade a classic fairytale into a rotten remake that could easily have been made by Satan. The script is god-awful. The dialouge has no happyness to it. It is fairytale blues in the making. The music is not enjoyable, because it souns like cheap carnival music. Roberto if I meet you, I'm going to make you give me back my $20.
Pinnochio has horrible visual effects. Pinocchio's growing nose looks like a **** getting an ********. Yeesh! And the scenery? I looks like somebody ******* and painted the **** green and blue.
Pinocchio is for ages 11 and up. It is an extremely disturbing and violent movie for a G. Characters are injured and some are sadly killed. Pinocchio makes bad decisions and gets into bad situations, and is usually arrested or hurt.
Overall, Pinocchio was the worst movie of 2002! The story was desturbingly aweful, Roberto Benigni's acting sucked, Benigni sucks again as director, and visuals are sh*t. Whoever says this movie this movie is good, there nose will grow. See the Disney version instead, because I give this version an F. |
