As a life-long fan of Peter Sellers/Inspector Clouseau/Blake Edwards/Henry Mancini, I did not expect to enjoy this remake. But not only did I love it, but the huge audience I saw it with was rolling in the aisles. Steve Martin has some big shoes to fill, and he does it quite well. Shawn Levy proves himself a deft director of light comedy. "The Pink Panther" was filmed in Paris, Prague, and New York. |
