This movie is a lot of fun, especially if you an attachment to the subject matter. Although, it's not entirely accurate (at least not in relation to James St. James' book "Disco Bloodbath") - so if you're really ino the subject, I suggest you check out the documentary and the book (if not talk to one of the actual club kids)
You can definitely tell that Macualy Culkin has had some time off in his acting because he's terribly flat and reads a lot of his lines like a Junior High School student. But, Seth Green's performance is so fabulous, that it makes up for Macauly's time off.
Definitely worth renting if not going to the movies with friends to see. Although, this film definitely won't be up for any awards. |
