I thought this was a damn good movie.
Who cares if the actors/actress are chinese????
The point of being an actor/actress is to be able to act out a part. Not everyone is/are who they act out.
Anyone who is affended by this movie is surely someone who is buying into the media and clearly getting pieces of their input/opinion from reading all the reviews. If you didn't like the movie be more respectful by just stating that. Don't knock the fact that the director didn't cast people from Japan. This movie is surely going to get oscar nominations and by far it deserves it. Of course the book is more detailed and your imagination just runs wild, but if you haven't read the book this is definitely a good foundation.
Too many of us rely solely on action movies, that we tend to not recognize the good movies/films when we have to use our heads.
Please go out and be your own judge of this movie. I loved it!!! |
