Critics obviously aren't always right...

The Life Of David Gale, was a movie that i will never forget. I don't like movies too much, only because they can't keep me interested long enough. I usually see what the critics give the movies, most significantly Roger Ebert, and decide wether it is worthy. Roger Ebert has lost a little bit of my respect...scratch that...he has lost A LOT OF my respect. Kevin Spacey is oscar-worthy in this movie, Kate Winslet is perfect, the story was extremely well-thought out, and extraordinary. This film is amongst my favorite now. The critics need to realize that as critics they need to be able to know what the audience likes, most of them were dead wrong. That is sad, when you are paid to do something and you do it so inaccuratly. Bravo to everyone that was involved in this movie, and keep them coming!!! |
