I enjoy Science Fiction movies and heard from a friend that this one was good. I was not disapointed. Not only are the action scenes superb but the acting wasn't bad either. When the clerics begin fighting I am reminded of the Matrix. What is amazing to me is that the fighting scenes seem much more realistic to me than the matrix ever was and I'm sure this film had much less budget. The star appears human in this film. Not a superhero as in the matrix. However, his abilities with weapons appears at least equal to those in the matrix. The plot, while extreme, shows what happens when a certain train of thought is in fact taken to the extreme. If you do not like fighting scenes, a world set in the future, or gunfights than this movie may not be for you. However, if you do, this movie will more than satisfy! |
