For all of you giving this film a bad review, you are probably TOO YOUNG to understand what is going on in this film anyway. If you didnt grow up watching Kung Fu Theater or Grind-house cinema, them you may not relate. Also, THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL QT FILM!!!! Quit watitng on the Pulp Fiction-esque dialogue or comedic timing of his other films. THIS IS A PURE ACTION FILM!!! This is not a crime drama or a heist film. This is QT's FIRST pure action film. If you hve been following his career and interviews he is finally getting to direct the kind of film that he grew up on....ACTION!!! And for those of you watching the screener BOOTLEG, then you didnt get to see a completed film anyway! The music wasnt right, scenes were probably cut out. This is progression for QT as a director, a chance to pay homage to his cinematic roots. Spielberg and Lucas did it with Indiana Jones, by paying homage to the serials of the 30's and 40's, whis is no different. Quit looking for comparisons and just enjoy the damn movie!!!! |
