I totally enjoyed this film. Sure, there are parts that make you go...huh, but whatever. I went to the theater to see a scary movie with a really cool villian (monster). And that's what I got. I didn't have high expecteations for the acting or even the whole story line. I got what I paid for and it actually exceeded my expectations. It won't win any academy awards, but I was entertained and came out of the movie thinking, "that was pretty cool". My favorite part was the beginning, in the field. It was a bit disturbing that the young boy was taken, but maybe that was what got me into it. I couldn't imagine what I would do or how I would feel if that happened to my son. I would probably do what the dad did...try and kill that thing. |
