Yes, I could see the twist coming, and yes, this type of con has been pulled off before, but with Clooney it works once again. Although a very funny movie overall, in places it lacked comedic rhythm and a little bloated in the middle. If some parts were shortened (Billy Bob's lines just a little shorter, Clooney's N.O.M.A.N. speech quicker to the point) others ommitted altogether (the ceremony with the kilts, the intestineless senior partner), this movie would be a favorite of mine. As it is, I would pay to see it again. |
